to our website! Lena, my wife, and I have been married 14 wonderful years.
The reason for our success in residential real estate is our loving and
understanding relationship. Many of our sales have been to friends and
family.
My name is Ozstar De Jourday. In 1967 my mother, who is now in heaven,
brought me to La Jolla from Beverly Hills. In 1977 I started working in
the real estate industry. Through real estate, I have gained local as
well as national recognition. Along with my many awards through Prudential
California, I have a sushi roll named after me at “Sushi on the
Rock,” located on Girard Avenue in La Jolla and have a chapter about
my life written by a best-selling self-help author.
I am an avid surfer, surfing almost ever day for health and spirituality.
I was on the cover of the March, 11th issue of the Union Tribune in 2005
surfing a huge wave. I was the president of the Windansea Surf Club (WSC)
for seven years from 1996 to 2002. WSC is a true non-profit organization
devoted to the family values, the betterment of the citizenship of the
surfer and clean ocean water locally and globally. I setup the website
www.surfclubs.org which unites
all the non-profit clubs on the coast of California and the world.
Team De Jourday sold a team record of over $99,000,000 in real estate
for the year of 2004. We are looking to improve on those numbers in the
upcoming years since there has never been a better time to buy. We believe
that prices will continue to rise since there is only limited space to
build in La Jolla. Many people are waiting for the bubble to burst; however,
we look at La Jolla property like a monopoly game, the player with the
most property wins.
In 2004 we were the listing agent for Montefaro, an approximately two
acre site that looks like a beautiful Italian village, located off the
18th fairway of the La Jolla Country Club. By combining our local connections,
our skills as real estate agents and our intuition to help be the product
